Ikerbasque, the Basque Foundation for Science offers 15 positions for experienced postdoctoral researchers - Ikerbasque Research Fellows,  in all research fields. This call is open to promising young researchers with a solid research track and international experience. 

Basque Center for Applied Mathematics - BCAM, is the responsible of the pre-selection procedure, in two steps:

 

Step 1: pre-selection of the BCAM candidates will be as follows:

  • Potential candidates: Please send before Feb 16th 2025 14:00 CET, the following information by our website: 
  • The BCAM Selection Committee will pre-select the candidates and will have an interview with them around Feb 17th – 28th, 2025.
  • After that, The BCAM Selection Committee will select the BCAM candidacies in this call by the end of February and will prepare the BCAM support letter for the selected candidates for the Ikerbasque . 

 

Step 2: Only the pre-selected candidates in the step 1 can apply in the official call: Application website: https://calls.ikerbasque.net/

Applications will be evaluated in a continuous manner, with a response period no longer than 4 weeks after the call deadline.

The reference letters shall be submitted directly by the referees. Each referee you indicate in this form shall automatically receive an e-mail with instructions to submit the recommendation letter to BCAM. So, you DON'T have to submit yourself. Those recommendation letters sent directly by you shall automatically discarded.
